    Strength of the insolvency framework index measures whether economies implemented best international practices in the areas of commencement of insolvency proceedings, management of debtor’s assets during the proceedings, reorganization proceedings and creditor participation. The index ranges from 0 to 16, with higher values indicating insolvency legislation that is better designed for rehabilitating viable firms and liquidating nonviable ones.
