  • Description:

To help gauge the impact of crime, this indicator records the losses due to theft while products were in transit to domestic supply markets. The value is expressed as a percentage of the consignment values of products shipped. The results are based on surveys of more than 100,000 firms in 125 countries--except in 2006 and 2007, when this indicator was computed for the Manufacturing Module of the survey only.
